Vision and Values

What's in a name? We Believe that a company should get its first identity from its name and then throughout its life should live up to that name. So what does "ePro" mean? Well, to us, 'e' is about

  • Excellence
"Excellence always sells" - Earl Nightingale

We are a company on a mission, striving each day to live up to our founding principles, striving each day to make a difference and striving each day to make excellence a habit.

  • Effective
"Efficiency is doing things right, while effectiveness is doing the right things"  - Peter Drucker

Management is doing things right, but Leadership is doing the right things. We as a company prefer to do things that are right even if sometimes it may bring us discomfort and short-term loss.
  • Empower
There is a basic philosophy to empowerment. When you empower employees, they do their work more effectively than if otherwise - Bill Gates

We understand that friendships empower more than commanding with authority. Our strength is our people and we know that protecting our strength will drive us forward more effectively than otherwise.

  • Experience
"The only source of knowledge is experience" - Albert Einstein

The Executives of EPro have over five decades of cumulative expertise in the IT industry and have assumed positions of great responsibility and leadership over the years.  Over the years, they have been involved hands-on at all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle either as a team member or as the leader of the team. They have been responsible for annual budgets ranging from a few hundred thousand dollars to a few million dollars.

  • Ethics
"Ethics is not definable, is not implementable, because it is not conscious; it involves not only our thinking, but also our feeling" - Valdemar W. Setzer

When John C Maxwell was once asked about his views on Business Ethics, he said "There is nothing called Business Ethics. There are just ethics. You either have them or you don't". We at EPro like to live by the Golden Rule.

  • Example
"Be the change you wish to see in the world" - Mahatma Gandhi

Today, in the IT industry there is a tremendous need for genuineness. The reason for that lack is not only because of unethical practices of resources but also because of the providers of those resources. The only way this trend can change is when a few companies step and say "We will be different". We would rather be a lone strong tree that weathers storms in the desert than be a weak tree in the forest that falls when the neighboring tree falls.
