Good knowledge and hands on experience in Java J2EE technologies.
OOO concepts, Core Java 1.5, Struts (1.3.x is desirable), EJB, JDBC, XML parsing, JSPs,
Ajax, Javascript, CSS, HTML,
High level understanding on Weblogic, ( Local configuration, knowledge on clustering impacts for development etc.,)
Using 3rd party tools like ITEXT ( for PDF generation), POI ( for Excel generation) – is a plus
Use of Jfree chart (for trending) — is a plus
Eclipse configuration, debugging, etc.
Clear Case/SVN or equivalent repository experience
Using Toad or equivalent tools for DB access
Logging techniques.
Experience with performance related issues/fixes, development techniques.
Desirable:
Should have knowledge on basic UNIX commands.
Should be able to generate basic Oracle DB queries.
Should be able to understand stored procedures.
High level understanding on rich UI (YUI).
